DVC (Disney Vacation Club) Resorts
Have you heard of the Disney Vacation Club? DVC is a timeshare program that’s owned and operated by Disney. The annual dues costs will depend on the resort you want to buy into.
You’ll pay per vacation point for certain resorts. After becoming a member, you’ll receive cost savings and special membership experiences during your stay. There are several different resorts that are a part of the DVC, such as the Animal Kingdom Villas, the Polynesian Villas, Copper Creek at Wilderness Lodge, and many others.
These are all great resorts for the little ones. You find more information about these DVC resorts when you shop confirmed DVC reservations. These resorts also offer rooms for those not a part of the DVC.
Disney Value Resorts
Visiting Disney World can get expensive when you have a large family. Sometimes, the best way to bring the family to Disney is to stay in one of the value resorts. Disney Value resorts are more affordable, but still offer all the fun Disney activities and customer service as many of the other resorts do.
Disney also offers five different value resorts, meaning you’ll have a good selection to choose from. Here are the different value resorts to consider.
All-Star Sports
The All-Star Sports Resort offers value rooms decorated with all your favorite sports gear from football helmets, tennis rackets, basketball hoops, and much more. You can find these larger-than-life displays all throughout the resort.
The rooms themselves are also decorated with different sporting goods, and you can choose what type of room you want to stay in.
All-Star Music
The All-Star Music Resort is similar to the sports one, except all things are music instead of sports. While walking around the resort, don’t be surprised if you find an oversized jukebox, piano pools, guitars, and more! Rooms are also creatively decorated for all music lovers.
All-Star Movies
The All-Star Movies Resort has the same concept as the other All-Star resorts, but with a movie theme instead. As you walk around the resort, you’ll find all your favorite Disney movie characters. Again, you can choose between different movie-themed rooms.
Pop Century
The Pop Century resort takes you on a time-traveling adventure through different decades and all the fun memorabilia that comes along with them. You’ll find large bowling pins, a groovy dance scene, yo-yos, tricycles, and more! The rooms aren’t decorated as much as the ones from the All-Star resorts, but they’re still modern and comfortable.
Art of Animation
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is the newest value resort at Disney. The rooms are lots of fun and unique. You can choose between The Little Mermaid, Cars, Lion King, and Finding Nemo.
These themes also take over the entire resort as each building has a specific theme from one of these movies.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort offers a unique experience for visitors. If you love taking your family camping, then Fort Wilderness is the place to be. This resort gives you the option to either camp out in a tent or to stay in one of the cabins.
You’ll still be on Disney property and get to experience all the wonderful activities and fun that comes along with staying on Disney grounds.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is beautiful and is located on one of Disney’s lakes. There are also small beach areas where you can relax with your feet in the sand. The main pool at this resort even has a water slide for the kids and adults to go down.
One of the best features, however, is the children’s water play area that’s sectioned off with a gate to help keep the little ones safe inside.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
If your children are big animal fans, then they’ll love staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort. This resort is located directly next to Animal Kingdom park. Some rooms even have balcony views of the savannah where giraffes and zebras wander around, right outside your room!
The resort and rooms are African-inspired and offer a great learning experience for the little ones, plus, they’ll be excited to wake up each morning, open the curtains, and discover what type of wildlife awaits for them.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
If it’s more a South-Pacific theme you’re looking for, then be sure to book your stay at the Polynesian Village Resort. Here, you’ll get to travel down a waterslide that takes you through a volcano. You’ll also find many other Hawian-themed activities on the resort.
This resort also has a children’s splash play area, separate from the main pool.
