It is a globally acknowledged championship that awards the best weed products found across the globe. Judges from different parts of the world are selected based on their experience. They are the final decision-makers of which company has grown the best variety of Indica strain, Sativa strain or hybrid strain, and Nederhash from the Netherlands. The carnival also includes educational seminars, a cannabis trade fair, and lives cultural events. This year due to the global pandemic, public opinion and crowdsourced grades decided the winner.
Hanfparade, Berlin: This is a hemp parade that takes place every year in August in Berlin. The idea is to react and revolt against the use of cannabis for recreation. The use of weed is heavily restricted in Germany, where even the medicinal purposes are partially recognized. This event is taking place since 1997, and thousands take up streets marching towards the capital city, trying to spread awareness about decriminalizing weed. The gathering involves hemp-related games and entertainment. People from high-ranking offices like law, politics, art, and medicine take part in this march along with commoners. However, this year the celebration got limited to the virtual space.
Cannafest, Prague: Cannafest is considered the biggest and the largest cannabis trade fest in the world. The festival comprises as many as 25 participating countries that actively engage in displaying medicinal products to weed apparel. This mega event strives to promote cannabis industries that can eventually boost the respective country’s economy. Participants showcase their weed production technology, pot accessories, clothes, cosmetics, and other weed goodies.
