The JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is conducted to provide admissions to engineering aspirants into the top engineering institutes in India. It is a national-level examination that allows candidates to secure admission in top engineering colleges such as IIT, NIT, IIIT, etc. NTA (National Testing Agency) the JEE Exam. It is conducted in two phases, i.e., JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The candidates who clear the JEE Main and get positioned among the top cut-off rank as declared by NTA qualify for the JEE Advanced Exam.
JEE Main 2022 Exam date might be declared in December 2021. Tentatively, the JEE Main 2022 Exam will be conducted from February to May in four phases. The candidates can start entering details in the form from December 2021. Upon screening the applications, NTE will issue JEE Main 2022 Admit Card to all the eligible students. The candidates can download the JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket 7 to 10 days prior to the exam date. They will need to obtain their respective admit cards from the JEE Main 2002 Exam’s site. Here are some points to remember regarding the Admit Card:
- The candidates cannot enter the examination hall if they don’t carry the JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket.
- The candidates need to produce the hall ticket when the invigilator or supervisor asks for it.
- After downloading the admit card, the candidates should inspect it immediately. It should be done to ensure that all the details in it are correctly entered and printed on it.
- If the candidates notice any incorrect details on the card, they should immediately bring it to the notice of the authorities to get it revised.
- Along with the admit cards, the candidates are also expected to take identity proof while appearing for the exam. It includes ID proofs such as Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Driving License.
- It is recommended that the candidates protect their hall ticket till the exam date. Also, if possible, they should download multiple copies of the admit card. If one of the cards gets damaged or misplaced, use the other.
Downloading process for JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket
The following process can be adhered to download the JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket:
Firstly, the candidates will have to go to the official portal of JEE Main 2022 Exam. On this website, they will find a notification related to the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card.
On clicking on this link, they shall be directed to the hall ticket page. The candidates now need to find the admit card by entering their application number and birth date.
After providing these details, the JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket will get displayed on the screen. The candidates will need to download a soft copy of the hall ticket. After that, they can take a couple of prints of the admit card for future use.
Upon obtaining the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card, the candidates should check whether the following details are correct or not:
● Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, and Gender
● Date of birth, Category, Roll Number, and Eligibility State of the candidate
● The paper for which the candidate will be appearing
● Application Number
● Exam Date, Exam Centre, and address of the Exam Centre
● Candidate’s Photograph and Signature
● Signature of the candidate’s parent
If the candidates find any mistakes in these details, they should immediately send an email to jeemain-nta@gov.in. If they fail to report the issue on time, NTA will not be able to take any action on it. Reaching the exam venue with an incorrect JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket, they will not be allowed to take this test.
