The Best Changi Village Food You Need To Try

Changi village food is one of the most popular food places in Singapore. It is located at Changi Point and offers a variety of different cuisines, including Singaporean, Malay, Chinese, and Western food. The best changi village food that you need to try includes;

1. English meat pies

English meat pies are a must-try when you visit Changi Village, especially if you’re a fan of English food. The English meat pie is the traditional English food, and as such is not very popular in Singapore. Nevertheless, the change to eat this type of food has made a big difference in my opinion. Sweet pastry filled with minced beef and served with gravy sauce, perfectly cooked. You can’t miss it!

2. Fish and chips

If you love to fish, this is a must-have. One of the most popular food in Changi village along with English Meat pies. Fish and chip meal has a choice of fish or chicken, served with chips, onion rings, and coleslaw. Rofl, the main reason why I love to go there!

3. Chicken rice

Changi Village chicken rice is just like every other fried chicken rice restaurant in Singapore; simple and delicious! The chicken lunch box comes with 2 chicken fillets served with curry puffs or curry rice. It has the best tasting!

4. Green Curry Chicken rice

Green curry chicken rice is one of the restaurants in Changi Village that serves Thai food. This is my favorite place and their Thai green curry chicken is a must-try when you visit Changi Village hawker center. It comes in a variety of different sizes and you can add as much green curry chicken you want. The price ranges from $3 – $5 per plate and it’s totally worth it! Don’t forget to ask for an extra plate of plain rice, because it really goes really well with green curry chicken!

5. Curry fish

Curry fish is a must-try when you visit Changi Village, even though it’s not really popular in Singapore, but the taste is really good! The curry fish is cooked with curry seafood and served with steamed rice. The best part about it is you can customize your own curry fish. You can choose your base, medium, or spicy level of the curry sauce when you order your curry fish!

6. Custard tarts

The custard tarts are one of my favorite food in Changi Village; they are also one of the most popular local food stalls in Singapore. The custard tarts are a great deal, huge, and very sweet! It’s recommended to be shared!

7. Sweet N Sour Chicken

Sweet & sour chicken is also one of the popular local food stalls at Changi Village. The chicken fillets are served with different types of chili sauce, including mild, hot, and extra hot. It’s definitely a first-timers restaurant, but worth the try if you love sweet & sour. The best thing about it is that you can customize your own portion size! I don’t recommend sharing with friends though…

8. Wheat Noodle

Wheat noodles are also one of the popular local food stalls at Changi Village. The wheat noodles are served with Chinese broccoli and a bowl of rice, it’s very suitable for sharing between 2-4 people. If you enjoy eating vegetables, I would recommend you to try their vegetable with wheat noodles; It’s a must-have!
