Dune bashing is one of the more ‘out there’ activities you can do in Qatar. Depending on the company you book through, you will be picked up from where you are staying and driven out to the dunes on the outskirts of Doha, possibly meet some birds and then get into a 4X4 vehicle that is handled by a highly skilled driver. Prepare yourself for an exhilarating 30–40-minute ride through the dunes that isn’t for the faint of heart. Once you have experienced it though, you will be glad that you did because this is not your typical everyday adventure.
